It feels like everyone on the internet is organizing their closet this time of year. And guess what? We are too! We thought it would be fun to take this sector of belongings in our homes and each identify our staples in a number of categories. Amid spring cleaning energy, what are the things that survive the purge, that we re-buy, that we recommend to our friends?

We love a roundup, but we also wanted to consider how these things relate to our general project of making a home where art can survive.

Krystiana: Two things come to mind for me here. First, I’ve been thinking a lot about my home as the site of both my primary creative output (where I make things) and as the site of my input (the stuff I look at, touch, read, use the most). I’m in a mood to refine my sources of stimulation a little bit. Do I find pleasure in the things I use every day? For all the things below, the answer is yes!
