Rabbi Dr. Jay Michaelson is the author of ten books, including his new collection of short stories, The Secret Which is Not A Secret: Ten Heretical Tales, published on December 5th by Ayin Press. The short stories in this book explore religion, sexuality, psychedelics, and tradition, depicting characters “torn between the transcendent and the earthly, seen and unseen.” Michaelson is the winner of the 2022 National Jewish Book Award, as well as being a journalist, rabbi, meditation teacher, and professor.
