Jody Galadriel Friend is a musician, model, writer, and creative director living and working out of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is the lead singer of the band Public Universal Friend, which has been featured by NPR, Mahogany, and PATTERN magazine. This summer, she and the band performed at the main stage of Indy Pride Festival. Her latest album, entitled Chrysalis, was released in March of this year, and is out now on all platforms.
Krystiana sat down with Jody at one of Jody’s favorite local coffee spots, to talk about being a transgender artist in Indiana, and the rituals and objects that help make her life possible.
