I have for many weeks been in the elongated process of moving to North Carolina, and now I am here. I am here! The moving truck is unpacked, the cardboard boxes are broken down and dropped at the recycling facility. I have so far met two people, although to be fair both of them are strangers selling me their furniture on Facebook Marketplace who are imminently moving away.
